• What have I been up to?

Here is a summary of my past work and future projects. Over the years, I’ve been involved in a huge range of exciting projects, so have a look and if you need to get in touch with my agency, please use the Contact Page to send an email.

You may have noticed I like to start the New Year with a cruise and 2017 didn’t disappoint!  I was a guest of Cunard’s stunning ship RMS Queen Mary 2 sailing across the Atlantic and arrived in New York just before Christmas. The most incredible experience and a wonderful way to visit one of the most exciting cities on earth. Squeezing in a trip to Miami and the Keyes before heading home, I arrived back in Blighty in early January refreshed and ready for the year ahead. A brand new documentary series called Britain’s Home Truths transmitted on BBC One in February with my programme focusing on New Towns – from the past through to the current day.

Throughout 2017 I’m regularly depping for Early Breakfast on BBC Radio 2, as well as returning to the Escape To The Country family, Wanted Down Under and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.  With a new series of ‘I Escaped To The Country‘ being filmed alongside the original, it’s shaping up to be a good year.  I was delighted to return to the Countdown team in April or a week of words and numbers.

It’s never a bad thing to start the year off on a cruise, so I was delighted to join P&O’s team on board Arcadia in early January to talk about my career as the ship set sail for a ’round the world’ cruise.  Sadly, I only did the first leg…

Throughout this year I’ve been dep’ing on the early breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 for the hardest working woman in radio – Vanessa Feltz.  It makes getting up at 3.30 bearable as I love being part of the BBC Radio 2 team.  I was also involved in the Monkees Documentary ‘Here We Come – The Monkees at 50!’.

Life wouldn’t be complete without Escape to the Country would it?  Imagine my delight when I was asked to film some revisits with our couples who bought our houses.  Yes. Bought our houses!  That’s kept me busy along with the new series of Wanted Down Under, which has been extended and will be back in January 2017 on BBC1.

I also had the pleasure this year of returning as host of the daytime edition of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. A week of floral finery and horticultural magnificence!  Early birds will also spot me regularly on Sunrise on Sky News, reviewing the weekend papers.  What did I say about early starts…?

November saw me host the Spanish Riding School, when they returned to Wembley and Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena. I’ve also finished filming two new separate documentaries for BBC1. Operation People Power is set to transmit late December 2016 and Britain’s Home Truths, coming February 2017.

I spent most of 2008 day to day managing the Spice Girls World Tour for Simon Fuller/19 Entertainment
